Salaam bloggers. For today's work we had to do all kinds of work. We also had a fun game called Blooket. Does any of you know blooket? It is a  game just like kahoot but more different. Here is a link to blooket. It is a fun game. There is a  game where you hack and a gold stealing game.  When I mean hack it means that at the start you need to choose out of three choices one password. Then the others need to try and guess it. If they do it means how much points you had the other person get's it now. It is very fun. The rules are that you have to get an answer right and choose a chest. That is my blog for today so I'll blog you later.

Fables!!

Salaam bloggers. I hope you guys are well and safe. I know it was a long weekend because labor day. So anyways I am going to tell you about fables. Have you heard about them? So you have to do your work on a google drawing of docs slides. And then you have to link it like this,so screenshot it and then press control k and copy the works url and press control c and go back and then you paste it and press control v.

Going biking

Salaam bloggers I went on a bike ride with my dad during the holidays. We went through Molley Green park and 1 Magpie attacked my dad so I tried to shoo it away but it all ready flew away so it was good. We went past the dairy and the kindergarten and went to a park. The park was called Keith Hay Park it is a huge park and got a new playground. We went around the whole park. Here is a photo of the park . So you see the park its so huge that my dad and me have to take breaks and sometimes I go so fast that I sometimes overtake my dad (which is hilarious). We were going back home from the park nd had to go through   Molley Green again and suddenly a Magpie attacked My dad again so I sad"Hey you"!

Level 3 work post!!!

Netball

 Hi bloggers! On Wednesday my class and me went to do Netball. We played a few game like Infinity Tag. Then we played bank and river. It was a good game. After that we did a game of netball. It was a game were we had to throw to the other person the person had to do the same thing. One of the coach was Olivia  names and the other was Josina. We played a game called golden child.

 Golden child is a game when you try to score a goal by throwing the netball in the hoop if you throw the ball and it gets inside the hoop it means the person is running has to stop. The golden child is the one who is the person at back of the running line if they if they touch the person who stopped they run to the end. If they get it it in the golden child has to stop and the other team wins!

Ancient Olympics

Hi bloggers for reading we did DLO's based on Olympics. I did it based on ancient Olympics on book creater with facts about what Olympics we were doing for example modern Olympics or ancient Olympics. The country's that participated in the Olympics.  Their were the teams that we picked from class on Friday an their were 18 groups the biggest classes teacher (Ms Sands) made the group of 5 or 4 people some people weren't here on Friday so they did not  know what was going to happen on Monday the day I never knew that I was going to be with my friend Abdullah. I will tell you the group names like my one is Bermuda,  Turkey, Georgia, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Iran, Cuba.

Sport study

 Hi bloggers, This week we had to create a sport study slideshow about the 2021 Olympics to see what sport we like and information about the sport we are studying about. I am doing the sport called Karate. It is a part of using your skills like kicking punching and some other skills. Its good for exercising and getting fitter.

  Our reading teacher Mrs Jones showed us a slideshow In reading we had to have partners to work on animations with our partners. Me and my buddy did Volleyball. Volleyball was made in America  or you could call it USA. Volleyball is a game played by men and women. At school boys play it and girls. Sometimes they play girls vs boys to see who is better. Me and my buddy had our own teams in the animation sadly in the animation my team lost.

STEM Week Waikowhai student led Toolkits!!!

Kia Ora bloggers. On Friday it was STEM week STEM stands for Science Technology Engineer and Math's. For stem we did student led toolkits. We each had different toolkits to go to. We wrote on a paper on Thursday to tell us which toolkit we had to go first second and third.

My first toolkit was Drones the presenters names were Martin, Masi and Neyrs. It was frustrating because the Drones were not working for some reason even though they charged it on Thursday for the whole day and left it charged on night. One Drone was working but the presenter crashed it on the wall. The spheros people let us in as well because the Drones were charging.

My second toolkit was Incredibox a music app. The presenters names were Kiani and Lily. They were showing us and example first then let us go to sit somewhere in the class and gave us headphones so it was not so loud and disturb other people.

My third toolkit was Music lab is a music app as well there is a funny person who sings funny. The presenters were Paytain and Erana. They had a bomb timer to make everyone stop exactly and close their

chromebook and listen what they are saying and the instructions.

That was the best day of my life I want it to happen every term. 

Cameron Pools

Swimming at Cameron pools

Hi bloggers. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the senior class and the middle school classes go to Cameron pools. We go on a bus to get there. We have groups to be in, my teacher of the group is Alisha. My first swimming lesson was in the deep pool but I didn't swim because I was fasting and if water goes in my ear my fast breaks. We made waves with the flutter boards and we had turns to swim through the waves. It was hard swimming through the waves because they kept coming again and again. they made us do this so when we go to the beach we swim properly.

Complements

Salaam bloggers. Today the year fives did complements with our teacher Ms McGrath. We had to make a circle because we can choose what person we want to comment on other wise we had to go find the person where they were. We had to choose people and say a good comment to them for example Ms McGrath for being a good deputy principal. My friend chose me. After that I chose my other friend I said thank you for playing with me at morning tea time. After that we made fortune teller. When we made them we had to finish off some work that we didn't finish. Then the year sixes came back from their trip.

Anzac Day in class

Hi bloggers. On Wednesday our teachers put strings all over the furniture in two classrooms. It was No Mans Land. First we did a basic facts test under the gunfire sounds. Second we did Anzac Maths it was about Anzac Day question. After that we ate some fruit we did some exercise the exercise was push ups. We did some letters that we were actually at the war and a poem of a word. It was morning tea after morning tea some people went swimming the people that were not swimming stayed and carried on. But we did pictodraw of Gallipoli. At the end of the day we had to take the strings off with blindfolds! But we had buddies. Phew! We got turns doing it.I felt so happy!

Tsunami alert

Hi bloggers last last Friday there was a tsunami alert. At 2 o'clock there was a earthquake, and at 4 o'clock there was another earthquake at 9 o'clock there was the last earthquake. There was a tsunami alert for the North Auckland. People that were near the earthquake side had to get out of their houses and go far and high up a hill or mountain. You had to have a first aid kit especially food and water. They had to stay there until it was fine for them to go back to their houses, some had to stay at peoples houses till they could go home.

There didn't end up being tsunami, but there were surges of water.

This got us thinking about what we need in an emergency pack.

 First aid kit, phone, radio, sunscreen, charger, battery, torch batteries umbrella, warm clothes, food and water.

Lockdown 4

   In lock down I felt nervous because we were going in lock down because it was our second time going in lock down this year. We did google meets all lock down. My favorite  school activity was kahoot.  My favorite family activity was doing a drawing competition. I feel happy back at school because I can meet my friends.
